Night falls on Hobart Harbour
Face-to-face with a wombat
I think I'll make this my desktop wallpaper for a while. Cloudy Bay Lagoon.
The great pyramid as it has looked for 4,000 years.
Abby in a shawl knitted by my mom. Note the shawl pin. I had no idea these existed.
This is the view outside my hotel window. I can't stop shooting it.
Cloudy Bay Lagoon - it was completely empty and totally beautiful.
Looking up to the top of the Shot Tower. Yes I climbed it, but the view from the top down wasn't nearly as cool.
This is from the monument at the Female Factory - a 19th century prison for transported women and children. Most of the prisoners had been convicted of petty crimes but they were doing very hard time far away from their homes in England.
OK maybe the second most popular shot in Egypt!
The Great Pyramid is solid as a rock.
We loved these lights - and even bought one like it for the foyer.

Teenager Spotted In The Wild
I'll stand over here while Winston and Matt attempt to photograph the wily wombat in its native habitat
Abby and Henry from the hill overlooking all three pyramids. This is probably the top photo spot in Egypt. And there were vendors everywhere to prove it.
Every Saturday Hobart hosts a huge Farmers' Market. This silversmith's phantasmagorical silverware captivated a little boy.
Bruce suggested this shot. What an eye.
